Dina Afek created the mixed-art piece, "Minab: American Shame," as a memorial to the victims of the Minab bombing. It is 2' x 3' and consists of 168 pairs of miniature slippers around 168 quartz miniature gravestones overlaid by splatters of blood forming the American flag. In addition, there are books, crayons, playground equipment, and metal and concrete strewn around, showing the destruction of the school. Winner pays the shipping costs of this art work, which weighs approximately 25 pounds (about 12 kilograms). Artist is offering to deliver it anywhere in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area.
