A Lullaby to Wake People Up!

On February 28, 2026, on the first day of the U.S. bombing of Iran, an elementary school was struck in the city of Minab, killing more than 168 people, mostly children. This series of peace concerts is centered around the "Minab Lullaby," composed by Iranian-American Sufi peace activist, Moji Agha, arranged and sung by Sharon Abreu, accompanied by Michael Hurwicz (together "The Irthlingz Duo").

• Sharon will sing the "Minab Lullaby," Moji's bilingual composition, with Michael accompanying her on guitar. That will be about 10 minutes of each concert. The rest will be Sharon and Michael singing a variety of songs for peace, some well-known and some original songs. In general, the concert will last about 90 minutes, with Moji speaking for a few minutes during the program (in most locations via Zoom). Often, there will be a potluck before or after the concert.
