Failure is all about you while you seek for goals that cannot be achieved.

Who could succeed where contradiction is the setting of his searching,
And the place to which he comes to find stability?

You still are free to choose a goal that lies beyond the world,
And every worldly thought,
One that comes to you from an idea
Relinquished yet remembered, old yet new;

No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth.

I can use this idea with any person, situation or event I think is causing me pain.
The upset may seem to be fear, worry, depression, anxiety, anger, hatred, jealousy,
Or any number of forms, all of which I perceive as different.
This is not true. They are all the same.
There are no small upsets.
They are all equally disturbing to my peace of mind.

Unsure of what I am, and thus conflicted in my actions.

And achieve only what God would have us do this day.

Let miracles replace all grievances, all grievances.
Each decision that you make is one between
a grievance and a miracle.
Today we go beyond the grievances
to look upon the miracle instead.

We will reverse the way you see
by not allowing sight to stop before it sees.
We will not wait before the shield of hate,
but lay it down.
And gently lift our eyes in silence
to behold the son of God.

He waits for you behind your grievances,
and as you lay them down,
He will appear in shining light.
